Board Of Directors

Board Chairman

Hon. Glen M. Ashworth, is a graduate of The University of Texas and The University of Texas School of Law. A former elected district attorney, he presided twenty-two years as the district Judge of the 86th District Court of Texas. He is a member of JAMS, formerly Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, a national provider of alternative dispute resolution services and he mediates and arbitrates complex business and commercial disputes. Judge Ashworth has earned a reputation for fairness and independence. He also manages a cattle and ranching business in East Texas.


David L. Levine, M.D., FACEP, is the Vice President of Informatics & Medical Director at University Health System Consortium (UHC). Dr. Levine’s area of expertise includes Risk Adjustment and Clinical Analytics, clinician engagement and data evaluation and assessments. Levine received his M.D. from Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition, Levine serves as the Adjunct Professor of Medical Informatics at the School of Continuing Studies, Northwestern University, and the Assistance Professor of Emergency Medicine at Rush Medical School.

Treasurer & Secretary

Tricia Freels, PHR, is a certified professional in Human Resources for Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, with more than 15 years experience leading corporate initiatives and creating effective employee relations practices. Freels has extensive experience in the Specialty Pharmacy industry with a focus of expertise in strategic management, organizational development, overseeing organizational leadership and culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Freels is additionally skilled in mergers and acquisitions, talent management, succession planning and diversity and inclusion initiatives. A graduate of University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Freels’ concentration is in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.


Seth Kamber, is the President and Founder of Barking Dog Technologies, providing consulting services to small and medium size businesses. Kamber provides a unique perspective on business operations by combining technology, sales and marketing into a cohesive whole to create growth and expand revenue. A graduate of University of Denver, Kamber is an active participant and advocate for The Friendship Circle, an organization serving to support children with special needs and their families. Kamber brings advanced fundraising skills and program implementation competence to CDF’s Board of Directors.


Clorinda Walley
Executive Director & Ex Officio Board Member

Clorinda Walley is the Executive Director for Chronic Disease Fund® (CDF), leading the charity with more than 18 years experience in the healthcare industry and over 6 years in strategic philanthropy. Reporting to the Board of Directors, Walley oversees the strategic and operational responsibility for Chronic Disease Fund’s staff, programs, expansion and execution of its mission. Equipped with a deep knowledge of the field, core programs, operations and business plans, Walley ensures the Chronic Disease Fund’s programmatic excellence, consistent quality of finance and administration, procurement of donations, internal and external communications and development of all patient care initiatives.

Peggy Foley
Sr. Director of Marketing

Peggy Foley is the Director of Marketing for Chronic Disease Fund®. Foley has more than 25 years in the marketing and communication industry with expertise in cause-related branding. Foley branded and launched the fund-raising arm of Chronic Disease Fund with Good Days, a dedicated communication vehicle designed to increase awareness of the need for public support and augment the assistance provided to patients. Additional areas of expertise include television, video and film production, writing, producing, editorial and design.
